Yes, you can pursue BDes Kitwear Design after completing Class 12 in Commerce stream. Infact, you can pursue the course after completing Class 12 in any stream be it Science, Arts or Commerce. Just make sure that you have scored at least 50% marks in your 12th board exams. All the best!

You Cannot Join Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture without UCEED for B.Des ( Bachelor in Interior Design) . According to the data from the official website, you must qualify the Class 12th Board examination from any Recognised Board or council from any stream with valid score in UCEED Entrance Examination.You can get admission with the another entrances which are - SAT India and Chitkara University Design and Aptitude Test . You must Score minimum 60% marks in Class 12th or 60% Marks in UCEED to get a chance in their institution as per the previous cutoff reports .

For getting admission to Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture for B.Des. in Interior Design you need to apply online through the official website of Chitkara University.Before applying online, you must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria - You must have 50% marks in class 12th board examination from any Stream or from any recognised institution or Board or any 10+2 or Equivalent Degree. Also the entrance exams like - UCEED, SAT scores will be marked as a valid proof of admission in this institution.

Yes, BDes is a globally recognised degree. It is available in many countries such as Australia, Canada, the UK, the USA, New Zealand and UAE. These courses are mostly available in full-time or regular mode only. When you join a BDes programme, you learn about the fundamental concepts of Design in the first year. You would not be expected to have any previous knowledge or background in the field of Design. In many colleges the first semester is common for all BDes specialisations.
