B.E. Eligibility

Though I was not able to find the exact merit list for B.E. / B.Tech programs on the official website of Pavendar Bharathidasan College of Engineering and Technology (PABCET), I could gather this much from other sites.Possible Minimum Marks:Some sources indicate that the minimum marks requirement in the 12th standard for any B.Tech programs are to be at 45%. This could be the case also for the other courses. Still, it should be verified.  Entrance exams:Class 12th marks: This will be in the vicinity of minimum marks as referred.Entrance exam scores (if applicable): PABCET may accept scores through various state or national engineering entrance exams, but clarification regarding the same is required.

Eligibility criteria to join B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering colleges:Candidates should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying exam 10th class for Diploma courses, (10+2) for B.Tech Courses.Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET).B.Tech/B.E admissions are regulated by the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE). Admissions made are in two categories i.e. A & B, as per the guidelines mentioned in various GOs released by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.Category-A  Seats: There is a centralized online system maintained by APSCHE for 70% of the Category-A (Aspirants applying through the state entrance exam)Category – B Seats: The remaining 30 % of the total seats (Category – B: Management Quota- 5% NRI,25% other states) are filled by the college as per the guidelines transparently issued by the APSCHE. Eligibility Criteria for B.E. / B.Tech at Government College of Engineering, Kannur (GCEK) Since you are categorized differently under general, backward classes, and so on, the educational qualifications also vary: either pass from class 12th or diploma. Here's how the breaks down.If you have passed Standard 12th:Minimum Marks:General and Other Backward Classes (OBC): You must have passed with 50% marks in aggregate in your 12th standard examination in which Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics were studied and normally appeared.Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates: There is no minimum mark cut-off. You should have been qualified in the 12th standard having Physics Chemistry and Mathematics.Socially & Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) with family income below Rs. 42000: You must get a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.Entrance Test: You will have to take the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance test. Eligibility criteria for admission to B.E./B.Tech in Tamilnadu College of Engineering are: 10+2 with 50% aggregate (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and having Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational as compulsory subjects. Candidates have to appear for counselling in TNEA, which is the short form for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions. Cut-off marks for admission are: General category-145-197; BC category - 133-190; MBC category - 120-175; SC/ST category - 90-155. Lateral entry scope: 50% aggregate in Diploma in any branch for general categories and 45% for other categories. Reservation: 69% for Tamil Nadu students and 31% for other states. Seats 1200 (B.E./B.Tech). Duration: 4 years (8 semesters). Intake through TNEA counselling 90%, Management quota 10%.
