To be eligible for B.E. / B.Tech admissions at Hirasugar Institute of Technology (HSIT), candidates must have completed their 12th grade with at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Bio-Technology, or Computer Science. For SC/ST/OBC candidates from Karnataka, the minimum aggregate required is 40%. The admission process also considers performance in the KCET or COMEDK UGET exams. The selection criteria for admission in P.E.S. College of Engineering for B.E/B.Tech course is for the karnatka residence is a  another competitive exam known as Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). For the other students college also except JEE Mains. The students must passed their 12th from minimum 55% marks and students must have physics, chemistry and maths from the recognised school and college.
