B.E. Eligibility

In order to gain admission into the B.E. / B.Tech courses at Mookambigai College of Engineering (MCE) in Keeranur, the following eligibility criteria must be satisfied by the applicant :-Academic Qualifications:The applicant must have attended higher secondary or an equivalent examination with core subjects being Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.In these subjects, a specific percentage of aggregate marks is usually required which is about 50% and above for some courses and categories of candidates up to 60% and above for most cases.Entrance Examination:The admission is mostly on the basis of merit list drawn up for the purpose of TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) which is basically an engineering counseling process in Tamil-Nadu based on the marks obtained by the candidate in 12th standard. This TNEA is conducted by the government of Tamil Nadu for the admission of engineering candidates to various colleges including Mookambigai College of Engineering.There is no separate entrance testing for MCE but, the TNEA rank that was assigned during the counseling process is one of the elements for the final selection.Category-specific Relaxation:There may be a concession in the minimum marks prescribed for candidates belonging to the reserved categories (SC/ST, OBC, etc.) as per government norms.

Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering- The selection criteria for B.E. / B.Tech programs in the college are based on the Gujarat Common Entrance Test, GUJCET or JEE Main performance by candidates. The candidate must have completed his or her 10+2 education, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. Counseling makes up one part of the admission process as well, in which seats are allotted to candidates who have been declared eligible, based upon rank in GUJCET or JEE Main and preference of branch. The minimum eligibility criteria for the B.E. / B.Tech programs at Sai Spurthi Institute of Technology, Khammam are carried out on the basis of performance in EAMCET-Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test. Conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education, every candidate is required to have a 10+2 level education with a percentage of marks minimum to be 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and 40% marks in those subjects for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. Admissions to this course are through counseling on account of the rank achieved in EAMCET. In addition to this, the college has management seats that are restricted to a certain number of candidates who qualify in eligibility criteria.

Seats are reserved for candidates belonging to different categories viz., General Merit, SC/ST, Category I, II, III & IV, and Political Sufferers, Defence, Sports, NCC and Physically Handicapped. Selection through Diploma quota and G.O.I quota are made by the Director of Technical Education, Bangalore    The student should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC /12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects. In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A,2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.Thanks

Eligitibilty criteria for B.E. / B.Tech Admissions: All candidates who seek admission in B.E. / B.Tech courses under Rural Engineering College may apply if they have passed 10 + 2 examination or equivalent from a recognised board in which he/she must have Physics, Chemistry and Math's as compulsory subjects.Minimum Marks: 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of reserved categories).Entrance Exam: Admission usually takes place based on marks obtained in entrance examination conducted at the state level, such as MHT CET or national level exams, like JEE Main.Minimum Age: The candidate should have completed at least 17 years of age by the end of the year they opt for admission.Candidates should also have any other requirement placed by the institution or affiliating university.
