Biomedical engineering (BME) or medical engineering is the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology for healthcare purposes (e. g. diagnostic or therapeutic). This field seeks to close the gap between engineering and medicine, combining the design and problem solving skills of engineering with medical biological sciences to advance health care treatment, including diagnosis, monitoring, and therapy. Also, included under the scope of a biomedical engineer is the management of current medical equipment within hospitals while adhering to relevant industry standards. This involves equipment recommendations, procurement, routine testing and preventative maintenance, through to decommissioning and disposal. This role is also known as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) or clinical engineering. Biomedical engineering has recently emerged as its own study, as compared to many other engineering fields. Such an evolution is common as a new field transition from being an interdisciplinary specialization among already-established fields, to being considered a field in itself. Much of the work in biomedical engineering consists of research and development, spanning a broad array of subfields (see below). Prominent biomedical engineering applications include the development of biocompatible prostheses, various diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices ranging from clinical equipment to micro-implants, common imaging equipment such as MRIs and EKG/ECGs, regenerative tissue growth, pharmaceutical drugs and therapeutic biologicals. BE Biomedical Engineering: Eligibility. Candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized state or central board with at least 50% (40% to 45% for reserved category candidates) of the marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as the major subjects of study. For BA LLB - you first have to appear for entrance exam like CLAT, AILET, SLAT, ISAT, CET etc., as For Law Admissions are purely based on entrance scores. Also, some Private Colleges conduct their own entrances for admission process. BA LLB is an integrated Law course of 5 years. First three years are mainly subjects related to Humanities and little bit of Law. Last two years are mainly Law related curriculum. Other Options are BBA LL.B. As well. In this first three years are mainly subjects related to Finance and management and little bit of Law. Last two years are mainly Law related curriculum. There are Lot of Scope in Law in making up your career. On the successful completion of Law one can practice in Courts as an Advocate. You can start your own practice or you can work as an Assistant to some Senior Advocate. It would be good for you to learn some work under the guidance of some expert Lawyer and then start your own practice as there is tough competition these days. Lawyers can also work as legal counsel and legal advisors for corporate sector, firms and organizations. Your Law degree will help in getting Corporate Jobs in MNC or Law Firms
So choose a college who offers best of internship / placements after completing Law degree.
