In order to apply for B.E./B.Tech at Devineni Venkata Ramana and Dr. Hima Sekhar MIC College of Technology, students have to clear the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam. University intake is done through ranking in this examination and then  student is counselled on where to join. To be eligible, an applicant must have scores 45 % or more in Physics, Chemistry Mathematics and must pass 10+2 Examination. The management quota seats are also admission through direct quota and involve higher fees .
