No,  BTech has a more practical implication while a Bachelor of Engineering focuses more on the technical insight on a topic. BTech is highly in demand and therefore pursued by many candidates who wish to make a career in top telecom and electronic companies. Therefore a majority of colleges now offer BTech in ECE course which is designed in a such a way to prepare candidates for the industrial exposure. However, it depends on the individual, if you will focus on gaining more experience and upskilling then BE students in ECE can also expect a decent level of growth in their career.

The duration of BE/BTech in ECE is four years. There will be eight-semester exams during which the candidate will need to work on major and minor projects as well. Candidates have to pursue this grueling course to become skilled professionals in ECE.Many colleges also grant extension to candidates to finish the course in case of failing in semester examinations or any other health issues. The maximum duration to which the course is extended is 6 years.
