The CUSAT DAT entrance test will be held in Online mode and the question paper will have MCQ type questions only. The CUSAT DAT is conducted for candidates without a valid GATE score. There are a total of 600 seats for BE programmes at B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning). Out of which, 180 are for the BE in Civil Engineering specialisation. The seat count is also the highest for this BE specialisation in comparison to others.

The JEST application process includes, registeration, uploading of the documents and paying the application fees. If any step is not done as recommended then applicants won't be able to appear in the exam. The photograph and signature both should be of maximum 100 KB while the dimensions are different for both of them. For photograph it is - Minimum: 100 X 125 pixelsMaximum: 240 x 300 pixels (width x height) For signature it is - Minimum: 100 X 125 pixelsMaximum: 150 x 30 pixels (width x height)Students are advised to upload the documents as per the recomended dimension of photograph and signature.
