There are no rigid criteria for admission, you just need to apply, and on the basis of merit (from all the students that applied here, if you're up in the merit you will get admission. But I must say it's really easy to get admission here. You just need to qualify JEE-MAINS. The admission process was pretty straightforward, you apply in REAP, select your priorities of colleges. It is very difficult to translate % into ranks. This is the case since no one is aware of the number of pupils who fall within a few percentiles of each other or at the same percentile. Only the National Testing Agency has access to all the information, and they will definitely release it soon after the second session of the JEE Mains examination is completed. Just be patient for a few more days, and you will receive your results.

According to me go for BE agriculture as it provides you a dimension of engineering background and considered in many jobs as a preference. Also you can appear in GATE to get best of the colleges for Masters eg. IIT, NITIE MUMBAI etc.
