The most significant reason for getting a BE abroad rather than a BTech in India is the unique global exposure that one gets on studying abroad. You meet people from diverse backgrounds and gain knowledge from global experts in the relevant fields.Apart from global exposure, students can also choose from a wide range of specialisations which are not available in India. Their soft skills, language skills, interpersonal skills and international workplace preparation can all be improved. Additionally, a degree from abroad is recognised and accepted worldwide, so students can choose to work at any place in the world post the completion of

B.Tech graduates have a lot of options after completing their graduate program. They can work in different fields from IT to construction or automobile etc. and get a handsome package. However, many students prefer to go for a Master's course after pursuing BTech which will definitely give them more opportunities in comparison to a bachelor's program. A BTech degree from abroad will also have a positive impact on your career in India as degrees obtained from reputed foreign institutes are greatly recognised here.

Yes, there are many scholarships available to study BTech abroad for the Indian students. Candidates can check the section scholarships to get a comprehensive list of scholarships they can apply to. Apart from this, candidates can also check out with the college where they are seeking admission, as many schools offer financial assistance to deserving candidates. Students applying from India need to hold excellent grades/academic records in order to obtain a good suitable scholarship to pursue B.Tech overseas.

As BTech is an undergraduate program, having work experience is not mandatory for getting admission to the BTech program. Candidates need to have secured good high school scores along with any English language proficiency scores. Also, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. Apart from this, some universities also require candidates to have SAT or ACT scores as well. Although work experience is not required, it will only work in your favour if you hold the same.

A BTech graduate learns technical expertise and practical knowledge while studying. Pursuing a BTech from a good college will definitely give you the skills required to get a good job and prosper in your career. Also, candidates can get a chance to work abroad which will be a great learning experience for them. If we compare this course abroad with India, it should be noted that Indian institutes focus more on theory, whereas, most foreign universities believe that practical knowledge holds a greater weightage.

BTech or Bachelor of technology is an undergraduate engineering degree awarded to students after completing four years of study. This undergraduate programme is their gateway to a career in engineering. Lots of specialisations are available for the students to choose from. While studying for this professional degree students also need to undertake an internship programme and research projects as well. In India, the UGC does not allow distance education for the BTech programme and therefore, the same can only be pursued in regular mode.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the University of Cambridge, and Singapore Management University are some of the top colleges for pursuing B.Tech abroad. However, students should have a great profile to get into a top BTech university. You need to make sure that you meet the set eligibility criteria for an engineering degree. The criteria for a BTech course may not be the same in all colleges. You need to prepare a list of your targeted universities and see if you match the requirements decided by them.

US and UK continued to be amongst the favourite countries for pursuing Engineering abroad. Apart from this, traditional destinations, Germany, Canada, and Australia are also good options to study and work for B.Tech graduates. However, students should first look at the colleges that will be best suitable for them and then consider other relevant factors. Engineering as a field undoubtedly has a lot of competition around the world, with every student aiming for one of the top institutions. But even if you're unable to secure admission at one of the best of the lot, do not lose hope as your future depends more upon your hard work and wil
