B.Ed Affiliation

In response to the recognition of B.Ed. degrees from Andhra Pradesh or other Indian locations, the Higher Education Department of the Odisha Government clarified that unless certificates are proven to be forged, they cannot be deemed invalid by legal provisions. However, to ensure eligibility for teaching positions in Odisha, individuals holding certificates from universities like Andhra University or Acharya Nagarjuna University must undergo and successfully pass the Odisha Teachers' Eligibility Test (OTET) for elementary level teaching or the Odisha Secondary School Teachers' Eligibility Test (OSSTET) for secondary level teaching. These tests are a mandatory requirement to validate their competence and suitability for teaching roles within the state.
