B.Ed degree helps you to get into teaching line. With the degree, you are eligible to apply to various schools. If you crack CTET exam, you get an opportunity to work under central government schools. If you crack STET exam, you get an opportunity to work under state government schools.

A) At least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor's degree and/or in the Master's degree in sciences/social sciences/commerce/humanity. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
B)
(i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
(ii) Candidates who have completed an NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.

You are eligible for B.Ed after any UG or PG degree as you have asked for Annamalai University. This university offers 2-year B.Ed course under distance education. It conducts entrance test which is to be conducted tentatively in September 2018 but as per NCTE norms regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary, senior secondary schools of Tamil Nadu with minimum of 2 years of experience are only eligible to get admission in distance education B.Ed course.

The minimum requirement for admission to B.Ed course is 50% marks in Bachelors degree (Science/Arts subjects) in Part III.
However the eligibility of candidates who have passed degree examination in double/ triple main, Model II vocational and other specialized subjects/streams will be governed by rules and regulations of MG university.
