B.Ed Eligibility

Total Fees of B.Ed. in Maharshi Valmiki College of Education is INR 16,820 .
Eligibility Criteria for admission in B.Ed. -
Candidate must have completed Bachelors Degree/Masters Degree in Science / Social Science /Humanities/ Commerce or any other qualification equivalent
thereto with at least 50% marks in aggregate for general (45% marks for OBC and mere passing marks for SC/ST) Or B.E/B.Tech with minimum 55% marks and specialization in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% marks
And
The candidate will have to choose only one teaching subject within a subject category which she/he must have studied in the qualifying degree i.e., Bachelors Degree or
Masters Degree for at least 200 marks and obtained at least 50% marks in this subject.
Eligible candidates need to appear for the entrance test conducted by the Delhi University.
Final selection is based on the rank obtained in the entrance test and document verification at the time of admission.

Eligibility for B.Ed in Annamalai University: Candidates should have undergone 10+2+3 (15) or 11+1+3 (15) pattern of study conducted by State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of Education Candidates who have passed 10 and 10+2 standards are also eligible to apply under Open University system Candidates having PG degree (5 years integrated degree programme) under 10+2+5 or 11+1+5 pattern are also eligible to apply for the programme As per NCTE norms, regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary or higher secondary schools in Tamilnadu, recognized by State / Central government, with a minimum of two years teaching experience are only eligible for admission into Annamalai University Distance Education B.Ed course.
