Please see the difference between the qualifications required for PRT / TGT / PGT teachers. Essential Qualification for (PRT) Teacher: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)
Essential Qualification for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) B.Ed Degree from a recognized University + Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Essential Qualification for (PGT) Teacher B.Ed Degree from a recognized University + Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate.

Career Prospects - Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. ) from Galgotias University: This programme opens many doors for the future of the students. Being a professional Teacher Education programme, students are prepared to teach skillfully and joyfully. After completing this programme, any student can start his/her career as TGT/PGT Teacher in Government or Private School to teach the students of upper primary or middle level (classes VI-VIII), secondary (classes IX-X) and senior secondary level (classes XI-XII) as per his/her qualifications.
