While your B.Com background doesn't directly align with mathematics, the B.Ed. programme offers flexibility in subject specialization. If you missed your B.Ed entrance exam, you can still explore options depending on your situation. Some universities like IGNOU, Annamalai University, and others offer distance B.Ed programs with alternative admission routes, either based on merit or entrance exams conducted later in the year. You can also look into integrated B.Ed programs or colleges with open merit-based admission processes. Review eligibility and application deadlines for specific universities offering such alternatives.

Having an overlapping period of 7 months between your regular B.Ed. and PG course may cause concerns depending on the regulations of the institutions or universities you are enrolled in. Generally, for both degrees to be valid, the institutions must allow dual enrollment, and you must adhere to their attendance and examination policies.
