Eligibility for admission into the B.Ed course in India requires an applicant to achieve a minimum of 50 percent in their respective undergraduate degree, whereas some of the universities and colleges would consider applicants scoring 45 percent under certain reserved categories. Each institute and even a few colleges have a little varying criteria, so it would be best to check those in your desired college or university beforehand. If you fail to fulfill the minimum percentage, it is advisable to look up special relaxation rules or find alternative routes, such as distance learning programs, with different eligibility criteria.

Some colleges offer B.Ed courses in Malayalam medium. A few of these options include the Wayanad College of Teacher Education, offering a B.Ed programme in many subjects, along with Malayalam. You cannot do a B.Ed in Special Education through distance learning with 45% in graduation as most of the institutions require minimum 50% marks in graduation to enroll for this program. Eligibility criteria for B.Ed in Special Education usually requires that candidates should have at least 50% aggregate marks in the undergraduate degree from a recognised university. Some universities may offer relaxation of 5% for the candidates belonging to the reserved category, but that doesn't match up with your present qualifications. B.Ed Admissions in Abul Kalam Minority Teachers Training CollegeInterested candidates must meet definition eligibility criteria. Graduate or equivalent candidates need to earn, as per the information available, a minimum of 45 percent marks in earlier qualifications.
