No, they are not equivalent. While, students can pursue B.Ed only after graduation,  DElEd can be pursued only after Class 12th. Therefore D.El.Ed is a beginner course whereas B.Ed is a specialised course in terms of the learning experience. D.El.Ed is an introductory course which gives lesser knowledge into the field of education as compared to B.Ed. Moreover, It is a Diploma course whereas B.Ed is a Bachelor's level course, therefore providing wider knowledge in Education.
