This is a programme leading to the Bachelors Degree in Education. The programme extends for a period of two years/ four semesters. The course of study shall be by regular attendance for the requisite number of lectures and practical training as per Mahatma Gandhi University Regulations for the B Ed programmes.Candidates who have passed any graduate level degree examination which is recognised by Mahatma Gandhi University with 50 % aggregate marks or equivalent grade (CGPA of 2/CCPA of 5) are eligible for admission.Candidates who have passed Degree examination with Double/Triple main are eligible for admission to B Ed in any of thesubjects they have studied as their Core/main. However, they have to submit copy of the Equivalency/Eligibility Certificate and Programme wise Eligibility Certificate from Mahatma Gandhi University, stating that, their Qualifying Examination isrecognized for seeking admission to the relevant B Ed Degree Course (s) as applicable, at the time of admission. Thisprovision is not applicable in the case of those applicants who have passed their qualifying examination from MGUniversity.

In Institution of Advanced Studies in Education IASE deemed University the eligibility criteria for B.Ed is the student must be graduate with 45% of marks. And B.Ed is a 2 years duration course. Institute of Advanced Studies in education IASE provides 300 seats for B.Ed course. Students for B.Ed course in IASE were admitted through PTET ( Pre Teacher Education Test) which is organised by Rajasthan Government. Students with good marks in the test were admitted in IASE deemed University. Tution fee for B.Ed course in IASE is reasonable and it is as per the state Govt norms. Minimum of 45% marks in the test is required to get admission in IASE for B.Ed course
