Gargi College, established in 1967, is in affiliation with the University of Delhi. It is one of the leading colleges for women located in the South Campus of Delhi University at Siri Fort Road (New Delhi). Ranked 9 for Arts, 12 for Science and 14 for Commerce (recently) by India Today 2021, the college was also ranked 16 in 2020 by NIRF under the Colleges category. The NAAC has also accredited this college with an A Grade and a CGPA of 3.30. In addition to this, the Department of Biotechnology under the Government of India has also honoured Gargi College with A Star College status.
