A good NIFT score for BFTech is 100+ out of 150. If you score less than 100 in the NIFT entrance test, then the chance of you getting selected for the cut-off will decrease. As NIFTs has a very limited number of seats for BFTech courses. For instance, NIFT Delhi offers only 43 seats for BFTech program.

In 2023, the General category minimum closing rank needed for admission to NIFT Hyderabad's Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.FTech) program was 64–279, depending on the category. This suggests a competitive admissions process, as candidates have to place within this range to guarantee a spot in the program. Future applicants should have this in mind while they study for the admission tests, as cutoff ranks can differ dramatically from year to year.
