The eligibility criteria for the Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) program at the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) of Pondicherry University is to have passed 10+2 or 11+1. Students can apply for the program online through the DDE portal on the Pondicherry University website or by visiting a DDE Spot Admission Centre.Here are some other things to know about the DDE program: The medium of instruction is English.  The course is three years long, but the maximum duration to complete it is six years.

At PSTU:General Eligibility:Passed 10 2: You'll want to have handed your 10 2 (Higher Secondary Examination) or equal qualification from a diagnosed board.Minimum Marks: There likely can be a minimum marks requirement on your 10 2 checks. The eligibilty criteria for BJMC needs that the candidates must pass their 12th or equivalent examination with 50-60% marks. The admission is also based on the entrance exam conducted by the Institution. Overall the candidate must score a good qualifying marks to get into the institution both in their 10+2 and the entrance exam held keeping the cutoff parameters in mind.

In order to get admission to BJMC course at CGC Jhanjeri, students need to pass Class 12 in any stream by an accredited board/ university/ council. Else, they can also pass High School Diploma and a three-year trade Diploma from the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training in Chandigarh/ any State board of technical education/ Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology in Longowal.
