In order to get admission to BJMC course at CGC Jhanjeri, students need to pass Class 12 in any stream by an accredited board/ university/ council. Else, they can also pass High School Diploma and a three-year trade Diploma from the Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training in Chandigarh/ any State board of technical education/ Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology in Longowal.

For admission to BJMC at CGC Jhanjeri, there is a minimum eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled before applying for this course. Interested students must pass Class 12 or High School Diploma to become eligible for this course. The admission to BJMC is merit-based. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the previous qualifying exam. Admissions are open under the management quota. You may get direct admission to VIPS (Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies) for the BJMC (Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication) course under the management quota (if seats are vacant).
