B. J. Medical College, Pune, is one of the oldest and most reputed medical colleges in India. The college offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses, including Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Master of Surgery (MS), and Doctor of Medicine (MD). Each year 250 seats are available for admission to the graduate medical course, leading to the award of the degree of M. B. S. of Gujarat University. Prospective students for an undergraduate course leading towards a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)degree must have completed a HSC (10+2, or high school) with the Science stream, including the subjects Biology Chemistry and Physics with at least 50% marks.
