No, candidates can not take admission into the BPharm programme at GITAM Vishakhapatnam with only Class 12 marks, as admission into the programme only takes place through the GITAM GAT and NEET UG entrance exams. Candidates who have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in their Class 12 are eligible for admission into the programme but they would have to appear in the GITAM GAT or NEET-UG entrance exam to get selected into the programme.

If we look for the most expensive BPharm course out of the three universities we will see that GITAM Vishakhapatnam has the most expensive tuition fee for its BPharm programme out of three universities. The starting tuition fees of a BPharm course is INR 6.8 Lacs while for Andhra University and Acharya Nagarjuna University it is INR 1.4 Lacs and INR 1.2 lakh, respectively. Candidates should make their decision accordingly.

GITAM Vishakhapatnam BPharm placements data has not released yet. According to the placements data in 2024 available for the whole institution the highest package secured was INR 46.50 Lacs out of the 3,500 job offers that were given at the institute. Therefore, candidates can expect good BPharm placement from the university. The major recruiters of GITAM Vishakhapatnam placements in 2024 were Accenture, LG, Cognizant, Amazon, Dell, HCL, ICICI Bank, Infosys,  etc.

 As per the latest cutoff, to be eligible for the B.Pharm programme at Principal K.M. Kundnani College of Pharmacy, you need at least 45% in HSC or equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as subjects.

BPharm at GITAM Vishakhapatnam is completely offline. The classes and the evaluation for the exam take place in full-time offline mode. Students have to appear for classes at the university campus to be eligible for semester-end evaluations.Coursework, project work, and evaluations also are done offline. There is a hostel facility in multiple accomodations on a first come first serve basis. Candidates can apply for hostel facilities at the university if they are travelling from outside Visakhapatnam for this course.
