It is a four-year undergraduate degree programme. Agriculture programme consists of topics such as- agriculture Science, use of modern scientific equipment and techniques in agriculture, land surveying, soil Science, water resource management, animal and poultry management, basics of biotechnology etc. If you are interested in plants, crops, cultivation, research on techniques to improve crop yields, producing better varieties of crops, etc. Should go for B.Sc. You should qualify in 12th standard or equivalent examination in science stream with physics / chemistry / biology from a recognised university. You should score minimum 60% percentage of marks in 12th board examination. The separate institution may conduct entrance examination within the colleges. The admission for B.Sc in agriculture is based on the percentage of marks in entrance examination.
