Hi,
If we talk about M.Sc. Agriculture, first, you need to check if the university is accepting Biotech or not. Then talking about career with M.Sc. Agriculture and Ph.D., later on, you have a bright career in government and private universities as well as companies. But with Just M.Sc., you will get mostly sales profile jobs. For M.Sc. biotech, if you take admission in top universities like Lovely Professional University Punjab and Amity University Noida, then your placement prospects are good, otherwise, in the private sector, it will be difficult.

It does a bit, but not significantly. Let me tell you instead what matters. What really matters is your BS/B.Sc education. First of all, in terms of knowledge and skills, your BS/B.Sc tenure makes your base. It remains there forever, you build up everything upon it, and you keep revisiting it during your all graduate education, MS, Ph.D. etc. Thus if your studies during BS/B.Sc are flawed, you will have to teach yourself the harder way again and again. If you can get to one of the top schools or tier 1 schools, go for it, if not settle for an average one and make your own destiny. You might have to work harder if you are determined to

Hi Kanika, Jobs for aspirants within the public sector are quite ample. There are many firms that are under the aegis of the Indian government that offer aspirants with jobs of high profiles. With the right qualification, a person can get employed as an Agricultural Research Scientist (ARS). Upon clearing the NET qualification, aspirants can start their career as a lecturer. Besides this, jobs are also available for aspirants as Block Development Officers (BDO) or Agriculture Development Officers (ADO). To get this job, it will be needed by applicants to write an admission test.
