Well, the eligibility criteria of most of the courses for taking admission in B.Sc agriculture is to pass with 60% total marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th.

Normally in February every year, a notification from ICAR is given for admission to Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral courses of various Agricultural Universities and Colleges of ICAR and States. The process is online for this a link is provided on the ICAR website http://www.icar.org.in and also on the websites of agricultural universities and colleges.There is an online entrance exam like JEE, AIEE, etc. in the second week of June, based on the course applied among the eligible candidates. BSc Agriculture can be called an easy course considering other Biology courses such as MBBS, BDS, Veterinary Science, etc. As compared to them, this course is easy since it has more practical applications than learning. Field experience is much more valued here than qualification.
