It depends on your interests and career plan. The options after B.Sc in Biotech would be to do your Masters, and then do your doctoral studies, if you wish to be in the area of Research or a job in academia. Some options are available for getting a job in the area of Production control or Quality Analyst in organizations such as Biocon, You should be really good with your basics on concepts such as Fermentation technology, Bio-remediation etc. However, it is worthwhile doing your Masters and your doctoral studies Ph.D and then trying for a job. What really matters is your interest and the career plan that you have plann

The major advantage of doing B.Sc in this subject is that the course duration is short as compared to B.Tech or BE.
This is a rapidly developing field. Many private businesses are exploring this field and heavily investing in it. It is safe to say that there are ample job opportunities for biotechnology graduates in the private sector. Government sector too offers job opportunities, but not in the scale in which private sector does.
Some prominent industries where biotechnology professionals may find jobs are Pharmaceuticals Industry, Healthcare sector, Chemical Industry and Research sector.
