Taking your concern, I think you want to pursue your career in biotechnology. If so SVIMS would be a great choice. As per students review the biotechnology course in SVIMS is better than other life Science courses. In biotechnology the placement rate is quite higher than others. Beside this the faculty in biotechnology are also very good.

Talking about the life sciences courses offered by SVIMS are great to opt for. The above said two courses in UG are great to take but as per students review the B.Sc Biotechnology have a edge on the comparison to B.Sc Microbiology. The placements are also decent according to the official data. I'd consider chose any of these courses  as per your interest rather than comparing the placement data.

There's no Entrance examination conducted for UG/PG Admissions in SVIMS. The students are selected on their merit basis. You can apply for the admission through official website. The eligibility for UG admission is 12th Pass with 50% marks and for PG the criteria is Graduation in a relevant field with an aggregate of 60% marks. The ease of getting admission into Maharaja Ganga Singh University's (MGSU) B.Sc Biotechnology programme depends on a few factors:Eligibility: Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria (usually 50% marks in Class 12 with Science stream subjects) is the first step.Number of Applicants: If the programme receives a high volume of applications from qualified students, competition can be stiff.Cut-off Marks: MGSU releases cut-off marks after considering applications. These marks represent the minimum score required for consideration. The cut-off can vary depending on the number of applicants and seat availability.

The Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU) website itself doesn't have a dedicated placement section for B.Sc programs, including Biotechnology. There are no such official records till now, you can try contacting alumni.
