The fees for biotechnology (B.Sc) is 1, 02,200 INR per year. And, their hostel is luxury. And, they take 80,000 INR per year as hostel fees. This is without any extra charges. You have to pay extra charges, in case you want anything.

Which course is better, I think this must be your choice, let me share you a few details about both course:
B.Sc (Hons. ). Biotechnology is a three-year degree programme. In the first two semesters, the focus is on the core subjects of biotechnology to ensure a good grounding in the fundamental concepts. If you are interested in MSc and other related courses, you should try IIT JAM exam. IIT JAM exam is organized for the admission into MSc, PhD and other integrated courses into IITs, IIScs and NIT institutes.
The candidates who have completed the graduation degree are eligible to apply for the IIT JAM exam, It is held in six subjects physics, chemistry, mathematics, geology, mathematical statistics and bio technology subjects.
The candidates must have the subject in their graduation degree for 3 years of six sem for which he is going to apply.

I'll try to put a better answer. I think this question must be raised in every mind before becoming a part of any B.Sc. batch at BHU. One thing is very common in students enrolled in B.Sc.(Hons) at BHU, That all have prepared for Medical/Engineering entrance examinations. The worst thing with these guys is, they often don't know what is the difference between science and engineering/medical. Scope in any subject and the possibility of employment through the subject are two different topics.
