Hi Anisha, B.Sc. In Biotechnology is a 3- year undergraduate course, involving an advanced study of the cellular and bimolecular processes for development of a variety of technologies and products that contribute to improving peoples lives and health. Eligibility for B.Sc. In Biotechnology;
1. A minimum aggregate score of 50% at both Higher Secondary and Senior Secondary (classes X and XII) levels.
2. Biology, Physics & Chemistry as main subjects at 10+2 level, with a minimum aggregate score of 60%in these three. Admission to B.Sc. Biotechnology is entrance exam based. AIIMS Biotechnology entrance test, DU entrance test are some such entrance exams conducted for admission to the course.

For admission to the course, eligible candidates are needed to qualify a relevant entrance examination, conducted at any of institute, state and national levels. Two subsequent rounds of group discussion and personal interview subsequently follow for assessment of candidates general aptitude for the course.
Some of the major entrance tests conducted in India for admission to the course are listed below:-
AIIMS Biotechnology Entrance Test, JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination (Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination), DU (University of Delhi) Biotechnology Entrance Examination.
However, some colleges also admit students based on their performance in the last qualifying examination.
