The Duration of B.Sc (Microbiology/ Botany/ Chemistry) is three year duration in any Indian university as per UGC Guidelines. You should have HSC as an eligibility for that.

Firstly, B.Sc (Botany) is a graduation subject like any other major papers. So, after B.Sc (Botany), you can pursue M.Sc (Botany) in a good University by either through entrance examination or by joining some good private university if you have the luxury of paying high fees. Further, you can later appear for NET/JRF/SET and pursue M.Phil. Or Ph.D. And go for Lecturership and Research.
