Yes, why not. Being any kind of graduate from any ugc recognised indian university u can compete state civil service and upsc civil service. Additionally, u will get an advantage because aspirant has to choose a compulsary optional subject along with other compulsary subject. That u can easily choose botany as botany is enlisted in upsc syllabus. Keep in mind the level of optional subject is grad and postgrad level. So choose the subject if and only if u r very much confident in it. Studies in Botany by JN Mitra, D Mitra and SK Chowdhuri, Vol. I:
Botany for Degree Students: Algae by BR Bashishta, Dr. AK Sinha and Dr. VP Singh
For detailed studies of the course content, Id suggest to go for topic wise published books. In this case, all books published by S CHAND GROUPS are the best with multi-color diagrams and detailed analysis of the topic.

Dear Ekta.IF you manged to get 85% in 12th then there will be great chances for you to get admission in DU - importantly in north campus. but rest will depend on Cut-off list.till then it's not possible to say anything about. but yeah there will be fare chances of admission.
