Delhi University is best for such courses, but yes the cutoffs are high for economics.

A graduate in Economics can expect many entry-level jobs in banking, finance, insurance, stock markets, sales and marketing as well as corporations like consulting firms or government departments.
They can also begin their career with government enterprises, public undertakings, investment firms, business journals and newspapers.
First be practical. You can already select your area of interest. Now, think that what you want?
I mean, if you want further study, then go for it and do M.Sc with your selected subject.

A PCM student is eligible to take admission to the course in subject which he or she hasn't studied at 12th class. 2 % is deducted to take admission. Go ahead, if not honors, you may get admission in simple BA eco degree.

For clearing Indian Economic Service, either of the courses is okay. Since they will ask questions on the topic that you have chosen. Hence select the course that fascinates you.

Hi Akshita,
I feel sorry that that you didn't get your reply sooner, though it is better late than never.
So, the cut off for economics honors is 93% for WB state board, 97% for CBSE board and for ISC. It is near about same as CBSE. This was the cut off last year.

For B.Sc in economics, you only need 50% in your 10+2. Here is a more information.
Bachelor of Science in Economics or B.Sc Economics is an undergraduate program of 3 years which can be done after completion of 10+2 or equivalent examination. The average annual fee for B.Sc Economics ranges between INR 50,000 to 1 lakh depending on the college.
