To apply for B.Sc in genetics, you need to check the basic eligibility requirement for the same. The basic criterion of eligibility needed to be MET for admission to the course is a Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognized educational Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects and a minimum aggregate score of 50% marks. B.Sc in visual communication is a 3-year full-time undergraduate course, the minimum eligibility for admission to which is the successful completion of the senior secondary certificate (10+2) qualification in science stream from a recognised educational board, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Admission to the course is based on the candidates performance in a relevant entrance test, followed by a round of interview. Because you have completed Diploma-ECE after 10th. Hence, you are not eligible for this course.

I don't know about cut-off, but I'd suggest not to take B.Sc in mass communication in St. Xaviers, because I am currently a student of Media Science and a former Xaviers student suggested me not to go for it, because it is not good and less importance is being given in college about this course.
