Different colleges have varied eligibility criteria for admission into their B.Sc courses. The general eligibility criteria for Indian students for B.Sc course is as follows:
The minimum age to join this course is 18 years. There is no upper age limit. Many colleges demand that students should have a domicile certificate.
Academic Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc:
Students who have cleared their class 12th with more than 55 percent marks can apply for this program.
Other than this, you can check with the preferred institute.

If you want to become a scientist at ISRO, you should appear for the ISRO qualifying exam rather than appear for GATE.
The eligibility:
BE/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 (average of all semesters for which results are available). Minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in section B alone for candidates with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification.
The qualification prescribed and the benchmark are only the minimum requirement and fulfilling the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for written test.
To answer your question, GATE syllabus for both would be the same.

The cutoff varies every year according to the number of students applying for examination and number of seats available. It would be advisable that you get in touch with college authorities/official page directly for accurate cutoff.
