Fees at the Council of Education and Development Programmes, Mumbai, for the B.Sc. courses are different from one course to another. For courses like B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics and B.Sc. in Medical Radiography, the fee will be in the range of INR 89,000 to INR 98,000 per year. But this amount will be subject to change with respect to the specialization and resource or lab usage charges. For accurate figures, contact CEDP because they will have the most updated fee structures related to certain B.Sc. tracks.

The total tuition fee of NIT Rourkela BSc programme is INR 75,000 which is to be paid over 10 semesters. Each semester a student has to pay INR 7,500 as tuition fee. However, this is not the only fee one has to pay throughout a semester. Extra costs like medical fees, student activity fee, hall establishment fee, etc. are also added in each semester. Thus the total fees to be paid by a student is close to INR 5.93 lakh, if one adds all the costs in each semester, the average cost each semester for five years is INR 56,500 in which the first and last semester have admission fee and graduation fee, respectively.

The average salary for IHM Shillong graduates holding a B.Sc. ranges from INR 15,000 to INR 17,000 and a maximum of INR 35,000 per month. Oberoi Group of Hotels, Le Meridien, Hyatt, ITC Hotels, and Lemon Tree are some of the significant recruiting organizations that emerge from IHM Shillong. These organizations come forward for campus recruitments in good numbers, and thus, a very high placement rate prevails at the time of graduating students. Practical training and exposure through industry form a grand tool for employability in the hospitality sector.

The lowest tuition fee out of the three colleges is IMS Kolkata. The total tuition fee for BSc at the institution is INR 1.7 lakh, whereas at SNU Chennai and at LPU Jalandhar it is INR 7.91 lakh and INR 4.8 lakh, respectively. If we look at the placement statistics for 2024, BSc at IMS Kolkata was offered an average salary package of INR 1.02 LPA. The average salary package is less than the total fee of INR 1.7 lakh, thus IMS Kolkata might have a lower tuition fee for BSc than SNU Chennai and LPU Jalandhar but it might not offer a positive return on investment.
