However, the training comes at a later stage, first they need to complete the educational requirements. Every hotel manager must have completed their Bachelors degree in hotel management or hospitality management. Every hotel manager must have gained work experience right after completing their graduation course. It is an additional benefit if one has the MBA degree added to the qualification such as MBA in Hotel management. Culinary Arts is a part of Hotel Management only. Culinary arts in other words is also known as Food Production. If you want to be a professional chef then pursuing a course in culinary arts will be better but if you want to keep other departments open also then you shall opt for a general hotel management programme. where you will be taught for all 4 departments Front Office, House Keeping, food & beverage service, and food production.
