Yes, having a BSc in Hotel Management doesn't necessarily restrict someone from pursuing studies in Food and Nutrition courses. In fact, the skills and knowledge gained in hotel management, especially in areas like food preparation, hygiene, and Culinary Arts, can complement studies in Food and Nutrition quite well. Many institutions offering Food and Nutrition courses might consider candidates from diverse educational backgrounds, including hotel management, provided certain prerequisites or additional courses are completed to fulfill their admission criteria.

While both the courses are undergraduate level, the major difference between them is, that a BA in Hotel Management can be pursued by any student irrespective of their stream, while a BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration can be pursued only Science students. Alongside, a BA in Hotel Management teaches how to cater to the Hospitality industry and a BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration teach students communication skills, dexterity, management, human resource, marketing, and inter-personal skills.
