The cut-off range of St. Xavier's College is 84% to 95% which changes according to your stream. The cut-off for christian minority would be much less than the general cutoff. For minority - PCM combination doesn't have a very high cut-off, specially for minority category students. If they get above 60%, I think they should be able to get admission just fine. Best of luck.

Frankly speaking, if you are a student with great acads, opt for the prestigious B.A (Hons. ) Economics course in one of the DU colleges. Opting for the aforementioned course would be comparatively better than the one mentioned in your question.

Admission in Mumbai University is on Merit and/or Entrance Test conducted by the University. You can surely try for it. A candidate for being eligible for admission to the three years integrated course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. ) must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (standard. XII) in Science stream conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subject or its equivalent.
