Hello Udaykiran, you are already in the third year of engineering and now you are thinking of leaving this and joining a college in US for graduation that is based on your 12th. Right? In this way you are bound to lose your three years in engineering college. I would rather prefer that you complete your engineering in another one year and then go for MS to USA. On the other hand if you are able to afford the cost of graduation in US institution then you can think of leaving your graduation halfway and preparing well so that you get admission in a good institution for graduation in USA. Best wishes to you.

Hi Satguru,
A diploma will be considered for BS from USA. You must however also submit SAT or ACT scores. Certain universities will require you to get your documents evaluated by evaluation organizations such as WES. So you must check university websites carefully. Also prepare for TOEFL.
Diploma courses develops basic theoretical knowledge about a particular field along with extensive practical training. This will help you gain an edge over others as you can show practical knowledge rather than just bookish knowledge. Your entire profile will be evaluated and not just your grades so the more additional experience and knowledge you hav
