A graduate in Mathematics can also take exams conducted by the UPSC staff selection commission, railways, banking etc. The eligibility criteria is 60% with English Physics Chemistry and MathsBSc Mathematics in LPU help in constructing basic mathematical aptitude for crafting researchers and scientists of tomorrow for addressing the needs of the next century. Students may also get international exposure option in which student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. The programme outcomes include Disciplinary knowledge, Communications skills, Critical thinking and analytical reasoning, Problem solving, Research-related skills, Information/digital literacy, Self-directed learning, Moral and ethical awareness/reasoning and Lifelong learning, Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. Are an integral part of curriculum.
