For joining Indian Army, you have many ways. After class 12th, you can apply for NDA TES entries. After graduation, you can apply for CDSE, NCC, UES, TGC, ACC, SCO, PCSl. In all above case, you have to clear SSB interview to get selected. Also, eligibility for all entries is different. Check it with official website. The decision would be based on your interest areas and long term career plans. If you want to pursue a career in academics / technical / research areas then M.Sc/ MS would be a better option However if you want to move into general management / operations side then MBA would be better. Since you are keen on a government job as well you should keep both the options open and try for government job by appearing for open tests simultaneously.
