Other eligibility criteria:
The candidate must have studied B.Sc in PCM/ Electronics with physics as an individual subject with minimum 60% marks and the candidate must have also studied B.Tech/B.E from IIT or college recognized by AICTE with minimum 50% marks are eligible.
The candidate must also have studied English in 10/10+2/graduation with minimum 50% marks.

Candidate must have secured minimum 60% marks in mandatory subjects and must have studied English as a subject either in Class X or Class XII with securing at least 50% marks.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview based 10+2 marks and rank obtained in Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMUCET).
