B.Sc Placement

The School of Nanoscience and Technology (SNST) was established during the Golden Jubilee Year of Shivaji University, June 2012. The department currently offers B.Sc. - M.Sc. five year integrated course in Nanoscience and Technology. The SNST intends to cultivate an interdisciplinary approach and bring together major science branches like Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Mathematics and Electronics under one umbrella. The Nanoworld is emerging as a small world with enormous opportunities. Objects in the range of 1-100 nm exhibit unexpected chemical, physical and biological properties. These astonishing new properties are the gateway to innovation in a variety of fields including chemistry, biology, physics, materials and environmental sciences, engineering and medicine.

The campus has first-rate facilities like laboratories, workshops and practice school for hands-on learning. There are also cafeterias, and transport facility for students' ease. B.Sc. Nursing is four year programme. Students have excellent and challenging opportunities to explore nursing through exposure visits to Communities, Primary Health Centres, and Community Health Centres. The college is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, the regulatory authority for nursing education in India. The degree is awarded by the Sikkim Manipal University. Course Outline for B.Sc. B.Sc Nursing Programme (4 year duration):
Minimum education: Candidate must have passed in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology& English with minimum aggregate of 45% marks in PCBE & pass in each subject from recognised board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
