For a B.Sc, placements are not even close to excellent for courses like MBA or law. But the big names such as Cognizant HCL Technologies and Mahindra & Mahindra have attended placement drives in the university. There is training from year one as skill development, emphasizing preparation for job interviews at the university. The placement will mostly depend on the academic performance and skills of the students. For B.Sc, it is true that placement statistics are not specified, but most students who want to go beyond this are advised to look for internships or go for post-graduation as an alternative.

At Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women's University (KSWU), approximately 20% of students secure placements, with an average salary package of around 3 LPA. Prominent companies such as Wipro, Mahindra, and TCS are some of the recruiters, though not all students get the opportunity to participate in the placement drives. Placement opportunities tend to be competitive, and the university provides career support through various programs, though overall, placements are somewhat limited compared to more specialised or larger institutions?

Placement at Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College for B.Sc and M.Sc courses largely depends on subject specialisation and performance of the students.
