B.Sc. Placement

Hello Nishar Ahmed, placements for undergraduate courses like BA, BCom or BSc are definitely not like placements after graduation in engineering. This is so because it is considered that after engineering majority of the students will look for a job while for other streams of graduations, majority of students may look for doing post graduation in some specialised area. As a result of this it is nightmare to come to conclusion based on this statistics. In the case of DDU under Delhi University the data is not available for different streams of under graduation but this club under single heading called under graduate students. Total number of students place or short of hundred out of about 800 students who pass out. But interesting aspect is that more than two and half times the number of students placed or not even looking for response but see admission for higher studies. The IHM Bangalore has good placement records, in 2023 95%-98% of students were placed with the highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Taj, Marriott International, Oberoi, ITC, Hyatt, KFC and some of the top hotels recruit students from IHM Bengluru. B.Sc. in Radiography has good career scope at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in Bangalore. Graduates can find employment in various areas, including: Government, Private, Nursing homes, Cancer treatment laboratories, Medical clinics. B.Sc. in Radiography graduates can also continue their studies in the same field. In 2021, 72 out of 77 students in the B.Sc. Nursing programme were successfully placed. The median salary was INR 7,20,000.  The highest salary offered was Rs. 59,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. The median package given during placement in 2021 was Rs 6 Lakhs per annum. Fergusson is one of the best college in Maharashtra. Also, now it became Maharashtra's first University. I was thinking to do my degree in Science. I don't want to do engineering that's why I chose this course, and also if you got good marks in your class 12th, then you will selected for the inspire programme, which is really good.
