A student who has completed his/her 10+2 education with minimum 60% aggregate marks and is from the science and maths background can take up a diploma course in engineering which is of one year and then can directly take admission to the B.Tech after Diploma.

The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing B.Sc (Psychology) degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream. Some reputed colleges and institutes demand a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 as qualifying criteria to secure admission for this degree course.

Most institutes offering the course admit students based on their performance in the HSC (10+2) exam. The candidate needs to have:
completed the 10+2 level of education from a recognised educational Board. Secured a minimum aggregate score of 50% at the 10+2 level. Have reasonably good problem-solving and mathematical skills.
