While both courses revolve around the use of medical imaging equipment, BSc Radiology generally emphasizes radiographic techniques, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI, along with aspects of patient care and radiation safety. It is more focused on the practical and technical aspects of radiology in healthcare settings. On the other hand, BSc Medical Imaging Technology has a broader approach, covering not only radiology but also advanced imaging techniques such as nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and other diagnostic imaging modalities. It often includes a more in-depth study of the technology behind these imaging systems and their integration into medical practice. 

B.Sc in Radiology and Imaging Technology to PCM students is on the basis of merit-based admission by some colleges.
