Yes, it is necessary for M.Sc to get a degree in the same subject. So, if you want to do M.Sc in botany you have to do B.Sc in the same.

Hi buddy,
As a B.Sc Graduate from a Private College you can expect a decent placement in a private company. As per my knowledge graduates get hired by an Agriculture Input Company e. g Seeds, Fertilizer etc. Nowadays, we can see job openings by Cold Storage Companies, Horticultural Gardening and Landscaping Companies. Etc. If you are planning to get into the Agriculture Field of Study, you need to do an MBA, M.Sc to enhance your knowledge and job prospects after B.Sc Agriculture.

Nursing is not only limited to graduation, M.Sc or Ph.D. After graduation, you can apply for Masters in public health MPH specialization in any medical subject like physiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pathology or you can do master in any field other than medical. So there are many options for you after graduation in B.Sc nursing, but doing MPH or specialization in any subject will not be favorable for a nurse, because there in MPH or specialty you have to compete with an MBBS so priority be given to them because of their knowledge and degree in concerned field.

With a postgraduate qualification on your CV, securing a good graduate job is more likely, and the possibility of attracting a higher salary is increased. This will leave you feeling confident that the time and money invested in your postgraduate education was worth it. Career prospects of M.Sc. Microbiology are:
Teaching in college / universities, Junior / senior research fellow, Research
